Attorneys’ and judge’s ‘read across america’ visits explore literacy & careers.

Burlington County, N.J. March 9, 2016 – Fourteen attorneys and one judge from the Burlington County Bar Association visited area schools to participate in Read Across America Day, Dr. Seuss’ birthday, on March 2, 2016.

The guest readers read stories to students in kindergarten through fifth grade at Delran Intermediate School in Delran, N.J. and Hawthorne Elementary School in Willingboro, N.J. They also talked to students about careers in the legal profession, including the variety of practice areas in law. The event was coordinated by Kim C. Belin, Esq. of Copper Levenson in her role as chairperson of the Diversity Leadership Committee for the Burlington County Bar Association.
