Atlantic County Mayors To Discuss Most Pressing Economic Development Issues Feb. 24

Atlantic City, N.J. February 17, 2016 -A panel of mayors will discuss the most pressing economic development issues, projects and opportunities in their cities at the Greater Atlantic City Chamber’s Atlantic County Economic Update on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Atlantic City Country Club, 1 Leo Fraser Drive, Northfield, N.J.

The event will begin with an address by Howard Kyle, Atlantic County Chief of Staff, on the recent activities of the newly formed Atlantic County Economic Development Alliance, a nonprofit economic development corporation that will lead business attraction, retention, and marketing efforts in Atlantic County.

The mayor’s panel will follow, moderated by Nicholas F. Talvacchia, partner at Cooper Levenson. Confirmed panelists include Absecon Mayor John Armstrong, Buena Vista Mayor Chuck Chiarello, Egg Harbor Township Deputy Mayor Paul Hodson, Estell Manor Mayor Steve Teasenfitz, and Galloway Mayor Don Purdy.

As chairman of the Land Use Practice Group at Cooper Levenson, Talvacchia brings to the panel an in-depth knowledge of land use and zoning, redevelopment, environmental law and development tax incentives. He has extensive experience in the approval, financing and construction of residential and commercial development projects throughout New Jersey, and has represented national companies in obtaining approvals for residential, retail, restaurant and telecommunications projects.
