Amy Houck Elco Selected to Present at NJSBA’s “Best of Workshop 2014”

Atlantic City, N.J. January 15, 2015 – The New Jersey School Boards Association (NJSBA) has selected Amy L. Houck, Esq., partner at Cooper Levenson, to present at the Highlights of Workshop 2014 Conference on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at the Princeton Marriott, Forrestal Conference Center, 100 College Road East, Princeton, N.J.

Houck will reprise her NJSBA workshop presentation on the Open Public Meetings Act, which was one of the top programs attended by NJSBA members in 2014. Her presentation, titled, “Can They Say That? Board Member, Employee and Public Comment Under the Open Public Meetings Act” is scheduled from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. in the Lowrie room at the Princeton Marriott.

Amy L. Houck is a partner in the firm’s Education Law Practice Group, serving school boards and school officials on every aspect of Education Law. She regularly lectures on a variety of school related issues including staff rights and responsibilities, student discipline, harassment, intimidation and bullying, special education matters and board ethics. Amy is also an Adjunct Professor for the Masters of Arts in Educational Leadership Graduate Program of the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey where she teaches School Law. She is a faculty member for the Southern Regional Institute and Educational Technology Training Center at the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey where she teaches the school law leadership program and harassment, intimidation and bullying seminars.
