Cooper Levenson to Present on the Future of iGaming, Casino Compliance at G2E

September 22, 2016 – iGaming activity in the states where it is legal and where legislation is pending is the topic of a panel discussion featuring Lloyd D. Levenson, CEO and partner of Cooper Levenson at the 16th annual Global Gaming Expo (G2E) in Las Vegas, Nev., on Monday, September 26, 2016. Cooper Levenson Partner Lynne Levin Kaufman also will be a featured speaker on Monday, September 26 at the conference, presenting on casino compliance and marketing and the intricacies involved in dovetailing the two. The G2E will be held September 26-29 at the Sands Expo & Convention Center, 201 Sands Ave., Las Vegas, Nev.

Levenson will moderate and participate in the presentation, “Gathering Storm: Future of iGaming in the U.S.,” scheduled from 10 to 11 a.m. on Sept. 26. The session will address why new kinds of gaming are coming together under one roof at the manufacturing level. It also will review the activity of iGaming in the states where it is legal or where legislation is pending, and explore what the future may hold for this gaming segment. Panelists will discuss how identity, payment and geolocation technologies have improved, and potential paths to advance legalization.

Kaufman will moderate a panel entitled “How to Coexist: Proper Compliance and Compelling Marketing,” scheduled for 1:45 to 2:45 p.m. on Sept. 26. This session will include a discussion of the highly regulated environment within which casinos operate internationally, which includes restrictions on promotions, marketing and advertising. These restrictions vary widely across jurisdictions, but are essential for maintaining compliance. The panelists will discuss cross-regulatory impact and restrictions, and the operational challenges raised by new gaming types (i.e., social, mobile, online) and more.

The G2E is an international gaming conference that brings together global leaders for conversations about the state of gaming. Described as “an event by the industry for the industry,” the conference will cover topics such as security and surveillance, tribal gaming, compliance and regulations, technology, and more. G2E’s show floor will showcase more than 400 exhibitors. For more information, or to register, visit http://www.globalgamingexpo.com.
