Chamber Plans Atlantic City Development Forum. Nick Talvacchia To Moderate Developer Panel

The Greater Atlantic City Chamber will present an Economic Development Forum from 1 to 4 p.m. Friday at the Sheraton Atlantic City.

The program will feature two panel discussions. A public sector panel, moderated by Atlantic City Electric President Vincent Maione, will feature Atlantic City Mayor Don Guardian, Atlantic County Executive Dennis Levinson, CRDA Executive Director John Palmieri and New Jersey Economic Development Authority Chief Operating Officer Tim Lizura.

The private sector panel, moderated by Nicholas Talvacchia, of Cooper Levenson Attorneys at Law, will feature presentations by the Conifer Group, Mario Procida, of Procida Companies, and Wasseem Boraie, of Boraie Development.

Sponsors for the program are AtlantiCare, Atlantic City Electric, Comcast, Cooper Levenson Attorneys at Law, Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, South Jersey Industries, TD Bank and Verizon.

“The Economic Development Forum will bring together leaders from the public and private sectors to discuss and highlight opportunities for area growth and development, including available incentive programs and innovative approaches to driving the region’s business expansion and diversification,” said Joseph Kelly, president of the Greater Atlantic City Chamber.

“Our panels of experts will present ideas, programs on exciting new developments as well as a vision for Atlantic City going forward,” Kelly said.

Cost to attend is $35 for chamber members and $55 for nonmembers.
