A 42-year-old man who was driving on a suspended license recently caused a fatal accident in Trenton. According to reports, the man’s truck struck the rear of a vehicle driven by a woman who was making a left-hand turn at an intersection. The woman claims that she stepped on her gas when she noticed the man’s vehicle.
After hitting the woman’s vehicle, the truck reportedly continued on and hit a crossing guard, killing him. Witnesses reported that the 56-year-old crossing guard was thrown approximately 200 feet as a result of the impact. The woman who was driving the other vehicle alleged that the man was speeding prior to the collision. It remains unknown to the public, however, whether any other factors might have contributed to the crash. The driver of the truck is now facing charges for causing a death while driving on a suspended license.
