To our Chapter 13 clients: from Erin Brignola, Esq.

The deadline to take advantage of the Cares Act (the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act), which made several temporary changes to the Bankruptcy Code to provide financial assistance during the coronavirus crisis, is set to end this month.

If you want to file, please contact our office before March 20, 2021 in order to make the deadline. If you are suffering a setback due to COVID and your plan was confirmed before March 2020, you may be eligible to increase your current plan by 24 months to reduce the plan payment.

If you do not fit into the parameters outlined above, you still may qualify for modification assistance. Please set up a phone conference to discuss if you are in need. 302.838.2600.
