More Than 300 Jobs Coming To Atlantic City

$33M Tax Credits Approved for Atlantic City Contact Center

Atlantic City, N.J. – July 9, 2015 – The New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) announced today that $33 million in tax credits were approved for Atlantic City Contact Center, LLC, a company whose plans include bringing more than 300 jobs to Atlantic City. Nicholas Talvacchia, Esq., a partner in the firm of Cooper Levenson, advised the company on the NJEDA tax credit application, netting the call center project $3.27 million per year for 10 years through the Grow New Jersey Assistance Program.

The Grow New Jersey Assistance Program provides incentives to businesses that create or retain jobs in qualified incentive areas in the state, and make a capital investment that meets certain criteria.

Talvacchia, chairman of the Land Use, Zoning and Planning Practice Group at Cooper Levenson, has represented applicants before NJEDA and has extensive experience in the approval, financing and construction of residential and commercial development projects throughout New Jersey, and has represented national companies in obtaining approvals for residential, retail, restaurant and telecommunications projects.

Talvacchia has obtained a multitude of tax incentives for development projects. In addition to this $33 million NJEDA tax credit, other approvals include incentive grants of $261 million, $5.2 million and $4.8 million from the EDA and development grants of $17.5 million, $18 million and $9.3 million from the CRDA.
