Lynne Levin Kaufman to speak at IAGA International Gaming Summit in Boston June 28

Lynne Levin Kaufman, Co-Chair of the Gaming and iGaming Law Practice Group and a Partner in the firm, will speak at the 39th annual International Gaming Summit, an International Association of Gaming Advisors (IAGA) event, in Boston, Mass. June 27 – 29, 2022.

The IAGA International Gaming Summit will cover topics “ranging from the ongoing North American expansion of sports betting and online gaming, the growing impact data privacy and cybersecurity have on regulated gaming and the industry’s expanding ESG efforts and accountability, each Summit session will provide valuable insight into critical issues facing global gaming.”

Kaufman will moderate a session entitled, “Keeping up with new technology, gaming innovations and trends,” described as a future-forward session that will dive first into new technologies, innovations and trends that are emerging in gaming and other markets, exploring everything from facial recognition software and its uses to local versus cloud-based hosting and the benefits and challenges of server location flexibility. The panelists include:

  • Patrick Bland, Chief Technology Officer, Acres Technology
  • Dan Carpenter, General Manager for the Games segment, Amazon Web Services (AWS)
