Lloyd D. Levenson, Esq. of Cooper Levenson has been invited by the American Bar Foundation (ABF) to become a Fellow, an honor limited to one percent of the lawyers admitted to practice in each jurisdiction of the U.S. and a small percentage of international attorneys.
Founded in 1952 by the American Bar Association, the ABF is recognized as the premier institute in the U.S. for social science research on law. ABF research is addressing critical questions about the functioning of juries, the careers of lawyers, the social costs of mass incarceration, diversity in the legal profession, law and globalization and many other aspects of the legal system. As a Fellow in the ABF, Levenson will support the organization’s groundbreaking research, and participate in educational and social programs.
Lloyd D. Levenson is Chief Executive Officer of the firm and Chairman of the casino law practice group. He and the firm have been instrumental in developing and implementing all aspects of gaming law, including the newest developments in online or Internet gaming (I-gaming) law, sports wagering legal matters, mobile gaming matters, and pari-mutuel betting issues. The East Coast Gaming Congress, now held annually, came about because of his dedicated persistence, working with area opinion leaders to make it a reality.
