Gary Ahladianakis joins Cooper Levenson, Attorneys at Law

Cooper Levenson is pleased to announce that Gary Ahladianakis has joined the firm as Of Counsel in the firm’s Defense Litigation Practice Group, based in the Atlantic City office. Mr. Ahladianakis is a seasoned litigator with eighteen (18) years of trial experience handling litigation matters involving personal injury, motor vehicle liability, premises liability, products liability, construction defects, employment litigation, sexual harassment, wrongful termination, whistle blower retaliation, and consumer fraud claims in both State and Federal courts.

Mr. Ahladianakis is very involved in the local Greek community, having both been a long-time parishioner of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Perth Amboy and also having served on the Church’s Parish Council as Secretary. He is a member of The White Mountains, Inc., a Cretan cultural fraternity located in Highland Park, serving his second term on the Executive Board, currently as Treasurer and previously as the Corresponding Secretary. He currently serves as the District Governor of the Pancretan Association of America (PAA) for District II (New York/New Jersey/Virginia/D.C.), which is a nationwide association of chapters developed to promote the social, ethnic and cultural relations of Greek peoples whose ancestors hail from the island of Crete, Greece. 

Mr. Ahladianakis is actively involved in the New Jersey State Bar Association, including having spoken at the Young Lawyers Symposium panel on the topic of “The Associate: How to Get Noticed When You’re a Small Fish in a Big Pond.” He also authored an article for Dictum, the Young Lawyers Division Newsletter, regarding the “Jersey City Prisoner Re-entry Program: Where Ex-Offenders and Young Attorneys Work Together on the Path to Redemption.”

Mr. Ahladianakis graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Law J.D., and Ramapo College with a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Society with a minor in International Business. In addition to English, Mr. Ahladianakis is fluent in Greek and proficient in Spanish.
