Fall School Sports “Return to Play” Update

We have been trying to anticipate and quickly respond to your questions during this time, given the unprecedented challenges presented to our Boards related to COVID-19 school closures.  On July 10, 2020, NJSIAA released a memo titled, “Return to Play Update,” which contained an updated schedule for a delayed fall sports season.

Presently, all fall sports can begin to practice on September 14, 2020, with varying season start dates. Please be aware that the NJSIAA task force cautions they are considering many alternatives to the current proposed schedule. Please continue to look for updates, and remain fluid in your planning for this fall season.  The July 10, 2020 Memo is attached for your review.
